Today the Commission imposed anti-dumping duties on imports into the EU of adipic acid from the People’s Republic of China.
Tomorrow (1 May), the EU-Mercosur Interim Trade Agreement (ITA) will start being provisionally applied. This will allow EU producers, exporters, and farmers to start reaping the benefits of this deal as of day one.
The European Commission welcomes today’s vote by the European Parliament in favour of the new Generalised Scheme of Preference (GSP), which represents the final step before its entry into application on 1 January 2027.
