Trade defence tools continue to protect EU jobs by promoting a fair business environment for EU firms – with the European Commission initiating a record number of investigations in 2024, reveals a new report.

Today, the European Commission imposed anti-dumping measures on imports of epoxy resins originating in China, Taiwan and Thailand. The measures will protect the EU epoxy resin industry, which employs 1,400 people across the EU, from unfair and injurious trade practices.
