EU welcomes co-ordinated First Anniversary push on Russia Sanctions

The 10th package of sanction measures against Russia adopted by the European Union on 24 February 2023 is part of a concerted set of actions among partners to adopt new packages of internationally coordinated sanctions and trade measures.

Below is a compilation of statements and actions from the G7, as well as announcements of new measures taken by the eight partner countries whose measures are substantially aligned with the EU: Australia, Canada, Japan, New Zealand, Norway, South Korea, the United Kingdom and the US.

The EU will continue working together with our international partners to further erode Russia’s capabilities to wage war against Ukraine.
