Chief Trade Enforcement Officer (CTEO) Mr. Denis Redonnet will present the Commission’s first consolidated annual report on implementation and enforcement of EU trade agreements, covering implementation and enforcement actions in relation to preferential trade agreements, trade barriers, SMEs and dispute settlement. The report will also provide an overview of some of the new tools and instruments introduced in 2020 and 2021.
A staff working document will accompany the report, providing an update on the implementation of 37 trade agreements and a list of new barriers reported and resolved in 2020. Both the report and the staff working document will be published on the Commission’s website during the last week of October. You will receive the requisite links as soon as the documents will be available. Registered participants will be informed of the publication.
