Exquisite fine enamelled jewellery is 'Freyed' into Canada.
- Founded in: Vienna, Austria 1951
- Headquarters: Vienna, Austria
- Employees: over 500 people worldwide
FREYWILLE creates artistic precious fire enamel jewellery. Working at the original premises in the centre of Vienna, where the company was founded in 1951, our artists, goldsmiths and enamel specialists guarantee the highest standards in design and craftsmanship. Each collection is different and production is limited but all display an enthusiasm for art.
FREYWILLE is 100 % privately owned and currently operates about 80 boutiques worldwide with more than 500 employees in over 30 countries on four continents. The original FREYWILLE style – a brand new style of enamel ornamentation and high quality fire enamelling techniques – was created in the 1980s by a team of young designers, goldsmiths and experts of fine enamelling.
How the trade agreement could help:
Freywille is expanding its business in Canada and the USA through a network of retail partnerships.
We started exporting to Canada in 2009 and I have to admit that since the CETA agreement went into force our deliveries to Canada are faster and require less paper work.
We do export more, in terms of products, and in terms of quantity, as CETA has cut import taxes on our products. Before CETA, we used to export to Canada 3 - 4 times a year; now it’s every month. So, our sales have definitely grown.
We export our fine jewellery every month to Vancouver and thanks to CETA it’s now quicker and easier.
