On 11 February 2015, the United States requested consultations with China with regard to certain measures providing subsidies contingent upon export performance to enterprises in several industries in China. The United States claims that the measures are inconsistent with Articles 3.1(a) and 3.2 of the SCM Agreement.

Status

On 14 April 2016, China and the United States informed the DSB that they had reached an agreement in relation to this dispute in the form of a Memorandum of Understanding.
