The panel and AB found EC Regulation 2136/89 to be in breach of Art. 2.4 of the TBT Agreement. The EC has implemented the WTO ruling through the amendment of Regulation 2136/89. A mutually agreed solution was notified to the WTO on 25 Jul. 2003.
