At this meeting, the European Commission will present and discuss with civil society recent developments in the EU’s trade relations with ASEAN, and the state-of-play of bilateral free trade agreements with Singapore and Vietnam, as well as of negotiations for free trade agreements with Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, and Malaysia. The meeting offers an opportunity for an exchange of views with civil society organisations on the EU’s trade policy with Southeast Asian countries and its future.
