Interim appeal arrangement for WTO disputes becomes effective

Today, the EU and other WTO members have formally notified the ‘Multi-party interim appeal arbitration arrangement’ (MPIA) to the World Trade Organization (WTO). This notification marks the start of the application of the MPIA to disputes arising between the participating WTO members.

EU-Korea dispute settlement over workers’ rights in Korea enters next stage

The EU and Korea completed today the procedure for selecting the members of the panel that will examine the ongoing dispute on workers’ rights in the Republic of Korea. The panel will be officially established as of 30 December 2019 and is expected to deliver its report by the end of March 2020.
