The definitive anti-dumping duties range from 57.7% to 90.3%. The imposition of duties follows an investigation that identified unfair trade practices. The investigation covered high-pressure seamless steel cylinders for compressed or liquified gas, of all diameters and volume capacities.

Imposing anti-dumping duties will help to restore fair competition between Chinese manufacturers and their EU-based counterparts. The EU’s industry for this product is located in Austria, the Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany and Italy.

The EU market accounted for some 6.4 million units from 1 July 2023-30 June 2024, which was the period investigated. Of those 6.4 million, 4.5 million units were imported from China.
