At this meeting, the European Commission will present a draft final report on the EU-Japan Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA) written by the European Consortium for Trade Evaluations, also known as ECFORTE (comprising Trade Impact, the European Institute of Japanese Studies (EIJS), Cambridge Econometrics, and Sustainable Quality Consult). 

The study aims to support the ex-post evaluation of the EU-Japan EPA after five years of application, to be prepared by the European Commission for assessing the impact of the Agreement in its economic, social, environmental, and human rights dimension. 

The presentation of the draft final report will be followed by an exchange on matters related to the study.
