In this Civil Society Dialogue (CSD), you will learn about the fifth consolidated annual report on the implementation and enforcement of EU trade policy. Chief Trade Enforcement Officer (CTEO) Denis Redonnet will guide you through the main activities carried out in 2024 and the first few months of 2025 to provide an overview of the concrete achievements and the challenges encountered when promoting trade agreements, preventing or removing barriers to trade, and advancing on trade and sustainable development commitments.

The report will also provide examples of Commission activities to help small and medium-sized enterprises to navigate international trade, including through IT tools such as Access2Markets

A Staff Working Document will accompany the report, providing an update on the implementation of 41 major preferential EU trade agreements, as well as a list of new barriers reported and those resolved in 2024. Both the report and the staff working document will be published on the Commission’s website together with updated statistics including on the utilisation of tariff preferences and Tariff Rate Quotas (TRQs). You will receive the requisite links as soon as the documents will be available. Registered participants will be informed of the publication.
