Almost one year after the adoption of the Communication on Strengthening EU Economic Security in December 2025, the European Commission would like to invite you to a dialogue with DG Trade and Economic Security's director responsible for economic security.

The meeting will serve to take stock of the implementation of the Communication and the progress made across its different work and policy strands, while also discussing current priorities and developments.

The exchange will provide an opportunity to hear stakeholders’ views on measures taken so far, their impact on the ground, and where further focus and action may be needed to strengthen Europe’s economic security.

We look forward to meeting you in person and online, and to hearing your views and questions.
