Anti-dumping Act of 1916

Status

Same case as DS136 (launched by EC). US appealed. AB report found in favour of Japan and EC. On 18 Jan. 2002 DSB meeting Japan requested authorisation to suspend obligations. US objects to the level of suspension of obligations proposed by Japan and referred the matter to arbitration. Arbitration has been suspended but may be reactivated since 30 June 2002.
